I am looking at auxiliary lights, as the ones on the bike are so bad.
How much extra power can the DC DC converter take? Does this set a limit on the extra lighting, and is another DC DC converter needed?
Maybe it helps to get 24V lights, a different converter and more efficient lighting?

Re: E Odin Scheinwerfer
I've been looking around and learned a few things.
First, getting ECE approved lights is a hassle.
Second, as far as I can tell from what I have read, ECE regs are not satisfied unless you install a pair, either side. So even if you get an ECE light, it's still not technically to spec unless you mount two of them evenly either side.
I'm not quite sure how that works for bikes where the original equipment is not an even light both sides. My 2 stroke racer has dipped beam on one side and main on the other. Those big BMWs seem to get away with asymmetric lights, too.
Maybe I should ignore ECE regs and just fit a cheap Chinese light?

Re: E Odin Scheinwerfer
General information
Possibly a useful addition if only one
single headlight for high beam and low beam is part of the
standard equipment of a motorcycle.
Not permitted if two high beam headlights are already available. Color: White.
Installation regulations
Installation as close as possible to the standard headlamp and to the center of the vehicle ("longitudinal center plane"),
at least 50 cm (lower edge) and no more than 120 cm
(upper edge) above the road surface.
