HILFE Motorsensorverkabelung
Vielen Dank, Ian.
Sorry I do not speak German so I am using translate but you guys seem to know more than anyone else so I though I would ask. My hub motor got water in it and when I was stripping it to clean it these wires came out of the plug and I cannot find a wiring diagram to put them back in the same place. Does anyone have a pin out or wiring diagram to help me get it back together? Silence S01 with Votol 150-2 controller. many thanks Ian

Re: HILFE Motorsensorverkabelung
The round circuit board is obviously the sin/cos encoder, which is also installed in some S01s with Votol. I had already removed it in my S01 with Sevcon, but it is wired differently there, only 4 wires, directly soldered, according to my memory. Hopefully you can find someone with Votol who can have a look at it or has a picture.
I think here there are 6 wires coming from the controller, and 2 of them are just passed through on the board, to the 2 separate ones, putatively belonging to the temp sensor.
I hope you have documented the mounting orientation of the board and the according lid with the magnet. Otherwise you will need to recalibrate it, for what you might not have the software.
Patrick

Re: HILFE Motorsensorverkabelung
thank you for your reply, yes it is Votol and different to the Sevcon setup which has less wires. I cannot understand why the manufacturer would not publish the schematic. I can tell which way it came out, there are marks however if I am wrong there are only 3 possible positions to try?

I would send the Foto to QS- Motor. I think the Motor is from them. I have a question too: The Motor ist open. How long are the Magnetics? 45mm?

Re: HILFE Motorsensorverkabelung
Hallo Ian,
I have found this scheme. Perhaps it will help with orientation.
Unfortunately, Silence does not provide any instructions for installing the motor or the battery. That's why these parts always have to be sent in.
I hope you can fix it, Bertolt
